MORNING DEVOTIONS
A Lonely Deer
Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor. Ecclesiastes 4:9, NIV)
I have learnt a lot of lessons from watching animal wildlife documentaries. From fighting for survival, to territorial behaviours, and even displaying deep parental instincts just like humans.
I once watched a lion devour a deer. The poor deer fell out of the pack while grazing and “Boom” the lion pounces on him, while the rest of the pack fled for safety.
Living a lonely life is not necessarily bad. However, isolation can be an opportunity for deception and delusion. Sometimes the enemy keeps us separated because he doesn't want us to get help.
Have you had many heartbreaks, so you have chosen a lonely life?
Our hearts can still be mended again, and God is able to send us trusted companions.
