A colleague’s “Tees” was a subject of controversy in the office. On it was an inscription.

“Life is too short Enjoy it, Eternity is long Prepare for it”

Someone questioned why he would wear a “faith based” shirt to the office with people of many beliefs and religion. His point was, the guy wearing the tee-shirt, was just been hypocritical.

I looked around the office and noticed inscriptions on people’s shirts, some even with vulgar undertone. But no one picked that up.

Being a Christian every day of the week can be hard, sometimes we get persecuted for being a follower of Christ. I guess this is the reason some people only associate with Jesus in Church on Sundays.

When Jesus Christ brought salvation to us on the cross, it was an open, well known event. We too need to reciprocate an open acceptance and show of our love to our saviour.

We need not to be silent or ashamed about representing Jesus Christ everywhere and everyday!

Whoever is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels.(Luke 9:26, NIV)
