MORNING DEVOTIONS
How Will God Do It?
38 years of lying in discomfort on a spot could be the most gruesome thing to happen to anyone. So was the case of the sick man at the pool of Bethesda.
When Jesus asked him if he wanted to get well, his response was more of analysing how he expects the healing to happen, rather than focusing on the healer himself — Jesus.
The sick man answered, “Sir, I don’t have anyone here to put me in the pool when the water is stirred up; while I am trying to get in, somebody else gets there first.” (John 5:7, GNT)
When we find ourselves in a prolonged state of hopelessness, we could start to doubt the authenticity of God’s word.
God, however, wants us to trust him totally.
He knows all our needs and exactly how to meet them.
