Jesus for Barabbas

His name replaces ours every day

While reading the scriptures about the death of Jesus, I realised that, man was ransomed even before Jesus was crucified.

This was proven when Barabbas (a criminal) was released in the stead of Jesus.

It is easy to judge the unfairness of the Chief Priests and everyone who screamed “Crucify him.”

I choose to reflect on how, I also have walked away freely from the sins deserving of punishment.

I am amazed about how I have survived many precarious situations unscathed.

Be reminded today that someone paid, and is still paying the price for you and I.
