On Bended Knees
The posture of victory
There is something so special about the “bended knees”,
That it was mentioned multiple times in the scriptures.
As humbling a posture, yet so elevating.
At Calvary's feet, salvation came to all.
On bended knees, the three Magi worshipped baby Jesus.
Great Kings, with all their splendour will rather bow. (2 Chron 6:13)
On bended knees;
Our battles are won,
Enemies surrender,
The barren became fruitful,
Knotty issues are resolved,
The dead was restored back to life (Matt. 9:18, Acts 9:40)
On bended knees, in humble adoration I will be,
For the rest of my life,
Only to my Lord JESUS CHRIST.
Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker; for he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care. (Psalms 95:6–7,NIV)
